Bouldering in Font

Shayne and Eleanor will be in Font for a month so this is an open invitation for anyone who wants to sample the world class bouldering that Fontainbleau provides.

Fontainbleau is a 4 hour drive from St Malo, it’s slightly south west of Paris. We’ll be staying at Camping Le Pres campsite, which is pretty lowkey and affordable. Font is entirely bouldering, and it’s SO much fun! You don’t need anything other than shoes and a chalk bag, there are tonnes of problems with grades to suit newer or more experienced climbers.

Unfortunately my van can only take two passengers so I can’t chauffeur anyone around while in Font, so you’ll need your own transport, another reason to find someone else to join you to help safe costs on fuel.

Who?
Me (Eleanor) and Shayne will be there for the whole month, but if you’d like to join for a long weekend or longer you’re welcome too. We’ll happily guide you around if you’ve never been before!

How much?
Prices change but ferry generally costs about £300 ish for a car, cheaper if you find others who will carpool with you!
